Monotype Printing and Pattern Design

All the leaves and the background pattern are monotype prints where I hand-painted the designs using acrylic paint on a GelliArts plate. Additional marks were made on the dried prints using a white pen.

The prints were scanned, and the pattern was developed in Photoshop.

This was such a fun way to create interesting and layered motifs which can be used directly or modified digitally in designing surface patterns.
